Right-wing author Brandon Weichert told MAGA influencer Steve Bannon during a War Room podcast interview on Thursday that President Trump's Iran war is "not going well."

Bannon insisted the U.S. must "win" despite unclear war objectives, claiming Iranian gas fields were deliberately hit contrary to Trump's public orders.

Weichert highlighted severe communication breakdowns between the U.S. and regional allies, and within the administration itself. He noted that despite Pentagon and intelligence community public statements, Iran continues launching missiles. Weichert raised concerns about Israeli leadership, questioning whether Prime Minister Netanyahu remains alive and in command. He cited intelligence failures in Lebanon, where Mossad allegedly struck non-military targets due to degraded capabilities.

Weichert expressed support for former Trump intelligence official Joe Kent, who resigned over the Iran war. Bannon dismissed internet rumors about Netanyahu, demanding more definitive information about Israeli leadership confusion.
