Caroline Kennedy, the cousin of Trump Health and Human Services Department nominee Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., has sent a letter to lawmakers warning against confirming him to a White House cabinet position.

The Washington Post reports that Kennedy paints a harsh portrait of her cousin, whom she describes as manipulative and dishonest.

“I have known Bobby my whole life; we grew up together,” wrote Caroline Kennedy. “It’s no surprise that he keeps birds of prey as pets because he himself is a predator.”

Kennedy criticized her cousin's efforts to undermine public confidence in vaccinations and emphasized that he made sure that his own children got vaccinated despite his warnings about them being unsafe for others.

She also accused RFK Jr. of being a frequent drug abuser in the past who also has a tendency toward cruelty toward animals despite his reputation as an environmentalist.

"He enjoyed showing off how he put baby chickens and mice in the blender to feed his hawks," she wrote in the letter. "It was often a perverse scene of despair and violence.”

She also said RFK Jr. had gotten some of his own family members addicted to drugs and that he "has gone on to misrepresent, lie, and cheat his way through life."
