MAGA Senate hopeful attacks reporter over damning story: 'Only leftists take you serious'

Royce White used to be an outspoken Black Lives Matter supporter. But these days, the former basketball star, now 33, is a far-right MAGA Republican who has allied himself with Infowars' Alex Jones and "War Room" host Steve Bannon and hopes to unseat centrist Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar in Minnesota's 2024 U.S. Senate race. And he has been endorsed by the Minnesota Republican Party.

The Daily Beast has done a lot of reporting on White, highlighting his history of antisemitic comments and other controversies. Now, he is angrily lashing out at the publication.

Fox News guest: I'd 'walk through broken glass in the middle of a house on fire' for Trump

Every election year, the stakes are higher than ever before, if most politicians are to be believed. But for Lisa Boothe, a conservative commentator on various political issues and frequent Fox News contributor, this year's election is so important, that she said she would willingly "walk through broken glass in the middle of a house on fire to support Donald Trump."

Boothe's possibly hyperbolic comments came Thursday afternoon on "The Story with Martha MacCallum," in which she also said the 2024 election is about "saving the Republic," and "the rule of law."

Trump: Tim Scott 'wasn’t a good presidential candidate' but is 'a great surrogate'

During the 2024 GOP presidential primary, Sen. Tim Scott (R-South Carolina) was, at times, critical of frontrunner Donald Trump. But it was mild criticism compared to the scathing anti-Trump attacks coming from fellow primary candidate Chris Christie, former two-term governor of New Jersey.

Now, Scott is reportedly on Trump's short list for a possible running mate, along with Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida), Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum.

Fani Willis can get Trump's election racketeering case back on track: Ex-prosecutor

Former federal and state prosecutor Glenn Kirschner said Thursday he believes the challenge to Fani Willis' prosecution of former President Donald Trump could very well fail after the Fulton County District Attorney filed a motion to dismiss.

Kirschner argued on his "Justice Matters" YouTube channel that a motion demanding Willis be removed from the Georgia election racketeering case is "not supported by the actual evidence they provided."

'Ridiculous delusions': Trump spokesman roasted for Milwaukee gaffe meltdown

After former President Donald Trump was reported as telling a roomful of Republican lawmakers that Milwaukee, Wisconsin is a "horrible city," Republicans went into overdrive alternatively defending his comments and denying that he said them altogether.

'Rewarding bad behavior': Rage mounts among GOP reps over Mike Johnson's Intel picks

Several House Republicans are speaking out about House Speaker Mike Johnson's decision to appoint two far-right MAGA extremists to the powerful and influential House Intelligence Committee.

According to Politico, there is a growing resentment among members of the House Republican Caucus over the appointments of Reps. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) and Scott Perry (R-Pennsylvania) to the Intelligence Committee last week. Members are "angry" not just over the baggage associated with both Jackson and Perry, but over the fact that more senior and more qualified members of the House were leapfrogged. One unnamed House Republican speaking anonymously told Politico that Johnson was effectively "rewarding bad behavior" with his Intelligence Committee picks.

Former President Donald Trump returned to Capitol Hill to speak with Republican lawmakers for the first time since the Jan. 6 attacks three years ago — and Democratic lawmakers are enraged at the disrespect, according to Axios.

'Guilty, guilty, guilty': Adam Schiff roasts GOP by quoting Trump's Manhattan verdict

During a House Judiciary Committee hearing convened by chair Jim Jordan (R-OH) to discuss the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's prosecution of former president Donald Trump, Rep. Adam Schiff used his time to troll the Republican-dominated committee by reminding them that their putative leader is a convicted felon.

Granted his five minutes, the California Democrat began, "I wanted to begin by quoting the jury in the Manhattan hush money trial," at which point he stated the word "guilty" 34 times [editor's note: we counted] reflecting the end result of the trial.

He then continued, "This was what the jury pronounced. Unanimously on every count. My Republican colleagues don't really contest Donald Trump's guilt. This is the fascinating thing; their argument has been he should never have been prosecuted. Where they falsely claim it was a political prosecution. They falsely claim it should have been a misdemeanor, not a felony."

"But they don't contest, not really, that Donald Trump was making hush money payments to a porn star to hide their affair from voters," the former prosecutor continued. "What they are really saying is they're comfortable electing and nominating someone as president of the United States someone who made hush money payments to a porn star."
