'Fizzling' Biden impeachment probe picked apart by conservative paper
The conservative Washington Examiner newspaper this week lambasted Republican House members for failing to fully implement former President Donald Trump's demands. Namely, an editorial published by the website complains that Republicans have failed to impeach President Joe Biden.
“Nearly a year and a half after initial investigations began, the effort to impeach Biden appears to be fizzling out," the report explains.
Trump was impeached twice by a Democratic-led House and "has sought to wield House Republicans," the report says, to do the same to Biden. Trump remains the only president in the 21st century to be impeached. He's the only president in American history to be impeached twice.

The first impeachment was for his attempt to bribe Ukraine by demanding a "favor" before he'd release the weapons package to them. The second was for his attempt to overthrow the 2020 election.
"These efforts have come to naught, however, despite an enormous effort from House Republicans, who sifted through thousands of documents, mainly related to allegations that Hunter Biden wielded his father’s political power for financial gain," the Examiner writes.
The House Reform and Oversight Committee has combed through years of financial documents from the president and has failed to find the $1.5 billion from China that Trump claims he did.
In fact, House Republicans so far have determined mostly that Biden loaned his son some money to buy a new truck, which his son repaid using money he made from his overseas business dealings.
"The intricate web of foreign connections has excited many Republicans, but its complicated nature and competing, sometimes hostile witnesses, have failed to pull together a solid enough case to move forward," complains the Examiner.
That is just one of four ways that the House Republicans have failed Trump, the report says.
They failed to prioritize bills moving Trump's presidential state cases to federal court, lawmakers similarly failed to defund Jack Smith's investigations and prosecutions of Trump. They also failed to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
