White House snarls at 'The View' as host claims Trump is 'jealous' of 'trim' Obama

It didn't take long for a White House spokesperson to sneer at the hosts of ABC's popular "The View" after co-host Joy Behar needled Donald Trump as being jealous of former President Barack Obama.

During Wednesday's episode, Behar took on the Trump White House's after the president said on Tuesday, "This was treason. This was every word you could think of. They tried to steal the election. Irrefutable proof that Obama was sedatious (sic), that Obama led — was trying to lead a coup."

Far-right podcaster Candace Owens is facing gibes on social media now that news has broken about a defamation lawsuit brought by French President Emmanuelle Macron and his wife, Brigitte.

The 218-page suit was filed in Delaware on Wednesday, accusing Owens of publishing “outlandish, defamatory, and far-fetched fictions”, including that she "is in fact a man," born under the name Jean-Michel Trogneux.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) scrambled to deny reports that he was adjourning the U.S. House of Representatives to prevent a vote on releasing files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
