Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is demanding a meeting with U.S. Marine Corps leadership to discuss criticism of Fox News host Tucker Carlson -- igniting brutal ridicule.
The broadcaster has faced widespread criticism from veterans, active-duty troops and an official Marine force social media account for mocking women who serve in uniform, and Cruz wants to meet with military leaders to tell them to lay off Carlson and other critics.
"Under Biden, the military is launching political attacks to intimidate Tucker Carlson & other civilians who criticize their policy decisions," Cruz tweeted. "Officials in uniform are being used for the campaign. I've demanded a meeting with the Commandant of the USMC to put a stop to it."

Carlson had complained that U.S. military service had become feminized under new President Joe Biden, prompting II Marine Expeditionary Force to challenge him to hold his criticism until he had "served and been pregnant," for which the service force later offered an apology.
Cruz's reaction was met with mockery and scorn.
Got to give you credit, Senator. Once again, finding a topic that will give you the most amount of attention for the smallest amount of effort while making a less-than-zero contribution to helping the American people.

I hope your wife finds a man to marry one day

The US Military must not go to war with.... (looks at Ted Cruz's fantasy outrage list)... Tucker Carlson.

Two effete media weasels that have never served in the military decide to cry about the military laughing at them. 😂
I am sure this will go well for you.

Ted Cruz didn't defend his own wife and own dad against Donald Trump's political attacks, but he's defending [checks notes] Tucker Carlson against [checks notes again] the U.S. Marines.

Carlson attacked the US military and called our women in uniform a mockery all while praising the strength of the Chinese military. Refuting those claims is not partisan, it's patriotic. But it's good to know Republicans hold a higher loyalty to Fox News than to our soldiers

Oh no not Tucker Carlson he's the last man who would ever think that intimidation by political attacks is an acceptable thing to do

The military is standing AGAINST white supremacy and standing UP FOR female soldiers. Anyone who thinks THAT is a political attack is admitting they are a white supremacist. We already knew you don't think much of women since you wouldn't even defend your own wife against Trump.

Not sure they'll have time to travel down to Cancun for the meeting. Maybe a Zoom instead?

Carlson attacked women serving in the military which is a direct assault on morale. If we get into it with the Chicoms, you want members of the service not feeling fully supported by America in battle? Enough with the ridiculous outrage politics.

Maybe you treasonistas should all stop attacking the American government, Rafael.
