Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) lashed out at his Republican colleagues on the Senate Judiciary Committee for ignoring what he called a mountain of evidence of corruption involving President Donald Trump and his family.

Moments before acting Attorney General Blanche was approved by a party-line vote to advance to a full Senate vote on President Donald Trump’s appointee, the exasperated New Jersey Democrat yelled at his counterparts and the administration over their blame game aimed at former President Joe Biden while Trump rakes in billions.

"They have become so obsessed with the millions that the Bidens have made that they have ignored completely the billions of dollars that the Trump family is making,” he accused. “That is like being obsessed and using a magnifying glass to study the stain on the living room carpet when behind you is a mountain of excrement covering the living room couch and coffee table.”

“This is so outrageous, the lack of proportionality going on — it is laughable. This is absolutely insane that we have a president of the United States who has now made $2 billion doing what?” he shouted.

“Wow, he is such a shrewd businessman, let me create my own crypto coin and have four nations invest,” he added sarcastically. “Oh, and by the way, if you are a corporation, America? Put my children on the board; they will get no-bid contracts!"

“This is a judiciary committee,” he lectured. “We are supposed to be checking and balancing this nation. Why have people on both sides of the aisle given up on any trust in government? It is because we are surrendering any shred of integrity.”
