Trump lawyers' impeachment filing features a typo in the very first sentence

Former President Donald Trump's new impeachment attorneys couldn't go even one sentence without a typo in their latest filing.

At the very start of their brief submitted to the United States Senate, attorneys Bruce Castor and David Schoen address the "members of the Unites (sic) States Senate," as flagged by Washington Post reporter Philip Bump.

Spelling errors and typos have been common occurrences in Trump attorneys' legal filings ever since the end of the 2020 presidential election.

Conspiracy theory-spewing attorney Sidney Powell, for example, misspelled the word "district" multiple different ways in a court filing aimed at overturning the 2020 election in the state of Georgia.
