President Donald Trump lashed out at NBA superstar LeBron James on Thursday, calling him a “total disgrace” over a video showing the basketball legend making gestures during the national anthem.
Trump shared a 22-second clip on his Truth Social platform of James moving his arms and making basketball-related gestures as the national anthem played, while other players stood still by him.
“While listening to our National Anthem, LeBron James disrespects our Country!” Trump wrote.
“I said right from the beginning that he’s no good, a TOTAL DISGRACE,” the president added.
Trump concluded his attack Thursday by demanding an apology from the basketball legend.
“LeBron James should apologize to all of those Great American Warriors and Heroes who died for the American Flag, and all that our Country stands for!” Trump declared.
