Trump makes last-gasp attack on Dem candidate with 'He will, 100%, do you in!' warning

Donald Trump once again went after Michigan Democrat Dr. Abdul El-Sayed in a Truth Social post after 1 a.m., as the midterm campaign wraps up and voters head to the polls.

The race for the seat held by retiring Democratic Sen. Gary Peters is one of the most closely watched in the country. Republicans have launched wave after wave of attacks on El-Sayed, a physician and former Detroit health director, many of them targeting his Muslim faith.

In his latest post, Trump claimed El-Sayed hates Jews, Black people and white people.

“Abdul El-Sayed Hates Jews and Hates Blacks. Don’t feel bad, he also Hates Whites. Only fools would vote for him in the Michigan race for the U.S. Senate! He will, 100%, do you in! VOTE FOR MIKE ROGERS. President DJT,” Trump wrote.

Trump offered no evidence for his claims.

It was the latest in a string of attacks. At a rally in Port Huron on Oct. 25, Trump told supporters, “I’m here to keep a jihadist Muslim Brotherhood member from becoming a United States senator.” He also accused El-Sayed of wanting the country “to go to Sharia law.”

There is no evidence El-Sayed has ever been a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. He has brushed off the anti-Muslim rhetoric as “distractions” and kept his campaign focused on the cost of living and health care.

Rogers, a former congressman and the Republican nominee, has claimed his campaign’s models show him leading among ballots returned so far.
