A menswear expert has found something new about the suit Donald Trump keeps wearing on the campaign trail. It’s built to fight body odor.

Derek Guy, a menswear writer who posts as @dieworkwear, looked into the suit on Friday. He traced it to a specific line from the discount retailer.

“Trump’s suit appears to be part of Jos. A. Bank’s Traveler line,” Guy wrote. “The suit is listed as having been made abroad using a wool-polyester-spandex blend. The company describes it as having the ‘ultimate stretch’ and was designed to minimize body odor.”

He posted photos of Trump holding his jacket open on stage, with the labels circled. Beside them he put a product shot of the same Jos. A. Bank suit. The post has drawn nearly 400,000 views.

This is Guy’s second look at the president’s wardrobe this week. Earlier, he pointed out that Jos. A. Bank suits are made overseas, “typically in countries like China and Bangladesh.” The company also sells a U.S.-made line under the Joseph Abboud label.

“I wonder why Trump chose the cheap import over the US-made suit,” Guy wrote at the time.

This time, one user replied to Guy’s post with a question: “Can he not just wear deodorant?”

“it Depends,” Guy shot back.

Guy also said the find had him thinking about a forthcoming book on “the politics of smell.”

“What does it mean to wear a suit to reduce body odor?” he wrote. “Much to think about.”

Conservative lawyer and frequent Trump critic George Conway had his own take.

“The ‘ultimate stretch’ suit to combat the ultimate stench,” Conway wrote.
