
Donald Trump, fresh off his victory in getting a stay for his gag order, is about to speak in Florida.
Trump took his fight over a gag order, placed on him by federal Judge Tanya Chutkan, to the appeals court.
An appellate panel then put a temporary stay on the order, which keeps the former president from attacking certain people involved in his prosecution, as well as witnesses. It has not addressed the merits of the gag order or Trump's appeal.

Now, an ungagged Trump is getting ready to speak in Florida. Earlier in the day, his 2024 presidential rival, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, spoke at the same venue.
