The White House is scrambling to deny fresh claims linking Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein after House Democrats and The Wall Street Journal published a 50th birthday note allegedly written by the president. The message, referencing a “wonderful secret” alongside the silhouette of a naked woman, was said to have come from the Epstein estate, but Trump’s deputy chief of staff blasted the report as defamatory, insisting the note was a forgery and not the president’s handwriting. Trump is already suing WSJ and Rupert Murdoch over earlier reporting of the same note.
