On HBO's Real Time Overtime segment, Comedy Central host Larry Wilmore warned that the battle between presumptive nominees Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump is going to be a big one.
The panel conversation began with a discussion over Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders "mixed message" about staying in the race while admitting that he wouldn't be voting for himself.
"I couldn't quite figure it out," host Bill Maher said. "He's staying in the race but he's voting for not him."
Guest Betsy Woodruff of the Daily Beast added, "I imagine the Bernie bros are a little baffled. I would find that perplexing. At this point, I think people are over the Bernie thing a little bit maybe. You know Clinton is going to be the nominee. It's kind of done."
As talk turned to how candidate Clinton could attract fans of Sanders, Wilmore jumped ahead to the general election.
"I think it's a race between Alien vs. Predator," Wilmore said to laughter from the panel. "That political machine, the Clintons, is a killing political machine. Anything in their path."
"Hillary Clinton should not be underestimated," he continued. "She's smart, she's competent, she knows exactly what she's doing. She'll be there."
