Morning Joe nails Trump's campaign strategy: He's 'vomiting out anything he thinks’

Presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump's campaign strategy is anything but, according to "Morning Joe" hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski.

"He’s winging it!” co-host Joe Scarborough said Monday morning. “He’s making it up as he goes along, instead of listening to Cory [Trump's manager], instead of listening to Paul Manafort, instead of listening to the people that are surrounding him, trying to get their message to him. He just can't stay on message.”

Brzezinski argued this is nothing new for Trump, who has spent the last year on the campaign trail rambling from one campaign issue to the next with little strategy behind it.

“Instead, he is literally still vomiting out anything he thinks at the tip of his head that he might have seen on TV, and I-don’t-know-what channel recently," she said. “And it’s pathetic, number one. It’s sad for the party, it’s sad for the country, and it’s sad for his candidacy, which could have done so much.”

Scarborough had previously been supportive of Trump, but last week announced he would only support Trump if he could prove he isn't a bigot.
