'Not racist' reality TV bros say black police shooting victims have no one to blame but themselves

Who better to heal our nation's racial wounds than bratty reality television stars?

Mediaite notes that Taylor Mosher, a reality TV bro known for his work in Laguna Beach and The Hills, decided to talk about the Keith Scott shooting over the weekend on his Instagram account. The basic gist of his since-deleted message: He's sick of hearing black people complain about getting shot by police officers.

Mosher, who says he is totally "not racist," insisted that race had nothing at all to do with police shooting black men. Instead, he said that the problem is none of these shooting victims are complying with officers' requests.

"White, black, brown, any color... if you have an officer of the law telling you to exit your vehicle (or do anything for that matter)... you comply," said Mosher, who must not know that a former FBI agent who watched the video said that Scott actually was complying with officers. "And not only do you comply, but you do so willingly and follow directions completely. And why in the world would you exit that vehicle with a weapon in hand (allegedly?!) That makes no sense!"

Mosher's screed against Keith Scott got a big thumbs up from fellow reality TV bro Brody Jenner, who reposted the message on his own account along with the message, "Amen, T!"

This understandably created a lot of blow back for both reality TV stars, which was when Jenner's mother, actress Linda Thompson, rushed to their defense.

"@brodyjenner & @brandontjenner have ALWAYS demonstrated kindness & compassion toward every living being," she wrote. "They are the LEAST prejudicial people I've ever known. I know their hearts to be in the right place. I just wanted to give them a shout out of love & acknowledgement of their goodness."

So remember, everyone: The real victims of racism are rich reality TV stars, not black people who get shot by police.
