A former University of Cincinnati police officer was wearing a Confederate flag T-shirt under his uniform when he shot and killed an unarmed black man.
Ray Tensing was charged with murder in the July 19, 2015, shooting death of Samuel DuBose during a traffic stop.
The former officer claims he shot DuBose in self-defense after the man tried to drag him with his vehicle to flee the traffic stop.
But Hamilton County, Ohio, prosecutors showed a frame-by-frame breakdown of body camera evidence that shows Tensing fired his weapon point-blank before the car moved.
Prosecutors introduced the Confederate flag souvenir T-shirt, which read "Smoky Mountains 1934," that Tensing was wearing under his uniform, into evidence Friday morning.
