In what may be one of many reasons why White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer stepped down on Friday, comes reports that new White House Communication Director Anthony Scaramucci mocked Spicer behind his back as "Melissa McCarthy."
According to the Wall Street Journal several Trump administration officials confirmed that Scaramucci openly mocked Spicer, tagging him with the female comedian's name based upon her popular portrayal of him on Saturday Night Live.
Spicer stepped down on Friday, reportedly over the protests of President Donald Trump, after expressing his concern that Scaramucci -- a financial services executive -- had no political communications experience.
President Trump had already expressed displeasure with Spicer whose combative style was fodder for McCarthy -- enraging the president even more.
