Special prosecutor Mueller just hired an FBI investigator who was hot on the trail of Hillary's missing emails

Special Counsel Robert Mueller just hired Peter Strzok, a senior FBI official who supervised the investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails, to now help the team navigate the investigation into Russia's meddling in the 2016 election, CNN reported Thursday.

Since last summer at the FBI, Strzok has helped supervise the initial Russia investigation, though it's unclear if he'll be focusing on liaising between the FBI and the Justice Department.

His addition brings the team to 25 total people now working with Mueller to uncover the information on Russia. The group, which includes attorneys and FBI staff and other admin personnel, has also moved into a new office in southwest Washington, D.C. a mile from the Justice Department. The reason was a lack of "secure" meeting rooms that allowed them to review classified documents.
