‘Fight Club’ pastor arrested on forcible touching charges
The “Fight Club” pastor has been charged with forcibly touching two women in a sexual way.
Paul Burress, a minister and mixed-martial arts fighter, was arrested Friday on two counts of forcible touching in connection with a February incident, reported the Democrat & Chronicle.
The 43-year-old Burress was pastor for years at the large, nondenominational Victory Church in Rochester, New York, but he is no longer listed among the leadership on the church website.
The church declined to comment Monday.
Burress and his church were featured in the 2014 documentary, “Fight Church.”
A former church member accused Burress and his wife of trying to entice church members in the “swinger” lifestyle.
The charges are misdemeanor counts punishable by up to one year in jail.
