Seth Meyers mocks Trump's stupidity reaching out to Mueller's witnesses: 'Even pictures of him have shifty eyes'

President Donald Trump looks so guilty on the Russia probe, comedian Seth Meyers said that even photos of him look like creepy haunted mansion paintings where the eyes move.

During Thursday's "Closer Look" segment, the "Late Night" host noted Trump has done all of the things that a guilty person would do. The latest is that Trump has been approaching witnesses interviewed by special counsel Robert Mueller and probing them for details.

To make matters worse, Trump told White House counsel Don McGahn to fire Mueller, but he refused. That news was reported by the New York Times, so Trump told McGhan to deny what was in the report. McGhan refused and then that story got out too.

"Seriously, how are these two still together?!" Meyers exclaimed. "Trump tells McGhan to do stuff, McGhan says no and keeps getting in the press, but Trump doesn't fire McGhan and McGhan doesn't quit. They're like one of those couples that ends every dinner party by fighting and when they leave someone says, 'They must have amazing sex.'"

Then the news broke that Blackwater's Erik Prince met with an agent of the Kremlin to discuss relations between the U.S. and Russia.

"Wait a minute, you're telling me a secret meeting on a remote island in the Indian Ocean between a mercenary and an agent of the Kremlin turned out to be suspicious?" Meyers joked. "Where was the meeting, inside a volcano the shape of a skull?"

Prince lied to the House Intelligence Committee about the meeting, claiming it was pure coincidence.

"I swear," Meyers said, pretending to be Prince. "I just happen to be vacationing on a remote island when I ran into a close friend of Vladimir Putin's and silly me, I got a paper cut on my hand. Before you know it we were swearing a blood oath and chanting Hail Hydra. It was just like one of those Sandals commercials!"

Meyers noted it wasn't even the first time the Trump team tried to set up a back channel to the Kremlin.

To make matters worse, this week's meltdown by Sam Nunberg revealed that Trump was offered prostitutes while in Moscow in 2013 for the Miss Universe pageant. He claimed Trump refused because he's not that stupid.

"You think Donald Trump is too smart to have women come up to his room?" Meyers asked. "He's not too smart not to take a picture with them!"

Meyers slipped into his Trump voice and pretended to be taking a selfie. "OK, got that camera ready? Everybody say, Exhibit A!"
