On Friday night, a debate hosted by CNN's Chris Cuomo went off the rails over Brett Kavanaugh moving forward in the Supreme Court nomination process.
Cuomo hammered President Donald Trump's former campaign advisor, Michael Caputo, after he blamed the Democrats for dragging Kavanaugh's character through the mud.
"I think Kavanaugh created a lot of his own problems, nobody told him to lie about his yearbook," Cuomo said.
Political commentator Angela Rye then criticized Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) after she voted yes for Kavanaugh. During her 45 minute speech on the Senate floor, Collins said she would do whatever she could to help survivors of sexual assault. But Rye was not buying it.
"Susan Collins is no hero of ours and we can not consider her an ally," Rye said.
