On Tuesday, CNN's Jake Tapper knocked President Donald Trump for the egregious amount of lies that he tells.

Trump's former national security adviser, Michael Flynn, had a hearing for lying to the FBI about his Russian contacts.

Lying seems to be a routine behavior for Trump and those connected to him. Flynn pleaded guilty to lying in January 2017.

Trump has lied at a record-breaking level for a president of the United States, that it has caused news organizations to innovate new fact-checking measures.

"Trump tells so many lies that The Washington Post had to create a new section 'the bottomless Pinocchio,'" Tapper said.

"President Trump's false and misleading claims that have been repeated more than 20 times led us to create a new Pinocchio rating," Meg Kelly from The Post said.
