Oh, I'm sure McCain would have given this due consideration:

Yawn. Is that all?
The president-elect has said, for example, that he intends to quickly reverse the Bush administration's decision last December to deny California the authority to regulate carbon dioxide emissions from automobiles.
Wow. It's almost as if one President enacted a bunch of policies which were politically motivated, and as if electing a President who's much closer to sharing our politics somehow leads to policies which are better! That's just weird.
