An Australia man has admitted that he threatened to burn down his Internet service provider (ISP) and menaced the owner with an axe after hacking the company's servers.

Adelaide Now reported on Monday that 29-year-old Bryce Kingsley Quilley of Tailem Bend pleaded guilty to "unlawful modification of computer data, one aggravated count of threatening to cause harm and one aggravated count of threatening to damage property."

Court documents show that Quilley hacked servers owned by the network provider at least three times on July 14 of last year.

"That same day, he threatened to burn down the offices of the ISP and, while armed with an axe, threatened to cause harm to its owner," according to the paper.

Quilley will face sentencing in August.
