Conservative radio host Glenn Beck on Thursday threatened to send Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) "away" because he was a "piece of garbage" for working with Democrats to pass comprehensive immigration reform.
In a Senate speech on Wednesday, Rubio had noted that he agreed with his conservatives critics on "every other issue" except immigration reform.
"I agree with my wife on every other issue, except that I should be faithful to her," Beck joked on Thursday. "Okay, so, I'm cheating on her with Chuck Schumer, alright? But what?"
The conservative radio host also seem outraged that Rubio had said that he wanted to fix problems in this "special" country.
"What are we in the short bus? Are we a little handicapped country?" Beck said, mocking the voice of a learning disabled person. "Trying to help this special country. Look how special it is. I want to help it."
"What a piece of garbage this guy is!" he added. "You're dealing with radicals, revolutionaries and communists. Have you seen what they've done to the rest of the country? How can you possibly sit in the same room with those people? You are becoming those people! You are becoming a progressive Republican! Get away! Get away!"
"Otherwise, brother, we're going to have to send you away."
