Two central Michigan men are dead in what police are describing as a road-rage shootout.
Police said 43-year-old James Pullum and 56-year-old Robert Taylor died Wednesday evening after shooting at one another in the parking lot of a car wash in Ionia, Mich., according to The Grand Rapids Press.
Officers were called about 7 p.m. to Wonder Wand Car Wash, where investigators said the pair had pulled in after apparently becoming involved in a dispute while driving near South Steele Street and state Route 66, reported WSYM-TV.
Pullum and Steele, who police said both held concealed carry permits, got out of their vehicles and exchanged fire.
They were pronounced dead a short time later at Sparrow Ionia Hospital, the newspaper reported.
The incident remains under investigation.
