A Seattle man told police that he has been receiving mystery packages of marijuana mailed to his home.
The man, whose name was not released, told officers that he received the first package last month marked “return to sender, insufficient postage,” reported KOMO-TV.
His home was listed as the return address, so the man opened the box and found an unspecified amount of pot inside.
The man said he didn’t want the drug and wasn’t sure where it came from, so he threw it away.
But another mysterious arrived Monday, and the man took that box to police.
Officers opened the package, which was marked with a business address in Georgia, and found about a half-ounce of weed inside.
Police sent the pot to the evidence unit to be destroyed.
Although Washington permits recreational use of marijuana, police pointed out that it cannot be sent through the U.S. Postal Service.
