Deputies mock FL man arrested after posting Facebook selfies bragging about drug sales

A south Florida man posted Facebook photos of himself sitting in a car with marijuana and stacks of money just feet from a sheriff’s squad car – but investigators used the selfie to arrest him on drug charges.

Taylor Harrison took the photo of himself near the Martin County sheriff’s cruiser to show how easy it was to sell drugs in front of deputies, authorities said.

But deputies arrested the 21-year-old in an undercover drug sting and posted his mug shot on the sheriff’s office Facebook page.

“Since Taylor was kind of enough to share photos of us on his Facebook page, we thought we would share these photos of Taylor on our page,” the sheriff’s office posted Friday on the social networking site.

The sheriff’s office posted the photos Harrison had taken of himself under the caption, “When Selfies Backfire.”

A judge set bond at $55,500 for the Port St. Lucie man.
