A Florida man accidentally shot himself and a co-worker while teaching the other man how to shoot a gun.
The man acting as instructor shot himself in the finger Sunday afternoon while trying to unjam a 9-mm semi-automatic handgun, police said.
The bullet then wounded the other man in the thigh before embedding itself in a wall, reported the Orlando Sentinel.
"One of them, I guess, thought he could teach the other he could shoot," said Sgt. Mark Stein, of Casselberry police.
Police did not release the names of the men, who are both expected to recover.
Witnesses at the Shooting Straight gun range described the incident as “just a case of stupidity.”
No charges have been filed in connection with the incident.
