In the video embedded below, an apparently intoxicated man attacks another passenger who he believes is gay. Within seconds, a number of bystanders leap into action to take the attacker down and hold him until police can handcuff him and lead him away.
The video is dated Thursday, October 23, and shows an unnamed angry man bellowing and threatening another passenger who is wearing a jacket and a pink shirt.
A tall man in a black cowboy hat approaches and asks the angry man what he’s upset about.
“Queers!” the man shouted. “That’s what I’m upset about. This faggot right here.”
After a tense exchange, the angry man kicks the man in the pink shirt, then slaps at him and grabs his hair.
A number of people rush to intervene as the man is tackled and put on the floor.
The man in the cowboy hat can be heard saying loudly, “No way! No way, you motherfucker. You ain’t doin’ that fucking shit, motherfucker.”

Secret recording features Trump falsely claiming that weed makes people ‘lose IQ points’
President Donald Trump falsely claimed that marijuana makes people "lose IQ points" in a secret recording released by indicted former Rudy Giuliani associate Lev Parnas.
Parnas released the recording, which captured more than one hour of conversation at a private donor dinner with Trump in 2018, to show that the president told him that he would fire then-Ukraine Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch. But the recording, which was apparently captured by Parnas' indicted associate Igor Fruman, also featured Trump discussing Kim Jong Un's golf game, the European Union trying to "screw the United States," the 2016 election . . . and his views on marijuana.
Former Trump official worries about the president’s mental state: ‘How long can this be ignored?’
President Donald Trump's mental fitness for office was called into question after a campaign rally in New Jersey.
During his speech, Trump began to slur his words, causing somebody at Fox News to laugh on a hot mic as the network cut away from the speech.
Former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci was concerned by the clip.
"Wondering how long this can be ignored," Scaramucci posted.
"Is there anyone left in his team that cares about his health and mental acuity?" he wondered.
Watch Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O’Donnell on the GOP effort to convict Trump for President Pence
MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow on Tuesday reported on the effort by "Republicans for the Rule of Law" to convince GOP senators that the party may be better off with Mike Pence in the Oval Office.
If Trump is convicted in his impeachment trial and removed from office, Vice President Pence would ascend to the presidency.
"Here it is in the wild. This is a billboard truck that puttered around Washington, D.C. all day, shuttling between the capitol and the White House and the Trump Hotel," Maddow reported, showing images of the moving billboard.
Moddow noted that on one side the truck read, "Remove Trump for Pence" and on the other, "Pence, it could be worse."
