Donald Trump and Megyn Kelly from GOP Cleveland debate (Fox News)

Donald Trump launched a series of attacks against Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly as she returned from an 11-day vacation after angering him during a debate earlier this month.

Kelly asked the Republican presidential frontrunner to explain his past misogynist comments during the Aug. 6 debate — and Trump complained later that perhaps the moderator was angry because she had “blood coming out of her wherever.”

Trump also retweeted insulting comments about Kelly — including one referring to her as a “bimbo,” as he did a couple of weeks ago — posted by some of his supporters.

"Attorney General Barr has made a career out of undermining our democracy and it is pellucidly clear that he has been ramping up efforts to undermine the upcoming elections and invalidate the votes of millions of Americans," the groups wrote.

Actor Sam Elliott narrated a new ad for Joe Biden that aired during Game 1 of the World Series.

"There is only America," Elliott said. "No Democratic rivers, no Republican mountains, just this great land and all that's possible on it -- with a fresh start."

"Cures we can find, futures we can shape, work to reward, dignity to protect," Elliott continues, as the Star Spangled Banner plays quietly on a piano in the background.

"There is so much we can do if we choose to take on problems and not each other," the narrator continues. "And choose a president who brings out our best."

The strange saga of the man who scaled Trump Tower in Chicago continued on Tuesday.

"A man was taken into police custody Monday morning after hanging off the side of Trump Tower from a rope since Sunday evening demanding to speak to President Donald Trump," the Chicago Sun Times reported on Monday. "The man, who is in his 20s, began dangling from the tower’s 16th-floor balcony about 5:30 p.m., asking to speak to the president and trying to get his message to the media, according to Chicago Police spokesman Tom Ahern.
