Larry Wilmore strikes back at Piers Morgan’s criticism of his #WHCD speech with a history lesson

Nightly Show host Larry Wilmore quickly addressed the response on Monday to his remarks at the White House Correspondents Dinner.

"Like the president himself, the reaction was mixed -- oh shoot I did it again," he said.

He singled out Daily Mail columnist and "professional Beyoncé hater" Piers Morgan, however, for arguing that Wilmore called President Barack Obama an anti-black slur.

"Piers, you did not properly conjugate that slur," Wilmore explained. "N*gger is what white people use to denigrate, demean, and dehumanize black people. N*gga is a term of endearment some black people use between each other to take back that power."

On the other hand, Wilmore did win over at least one conservative.

"I haven't seen a black destroy like that since the Baltimore riots," said "Donald Trump" via remote. "You left that room like a CVS."
