Conservatives, as well as some supporters of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, did not react well to the decision of FBI Director James Comey to pass on recommending criminal charges be filed against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for using a private email server.
As Comey gave his speech, Twitter was alive with commentary that gave birth to multiple hashtags as the FBI director described in detail how the investigation was handled and what was discovered.
While there were indications last week that no indictment was forthcoming, the final announcement dropped like a bombshell and set off a firestorm of anger, with presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump claiming the "system is rigged."
