Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders will reportedly appear at a Tuesday rally with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton where he will endorse her as the 2016 Democratic presidential candidate, reports WMUR.

Clinton has scheduled an appearance at Portsmouth High School on Tuesday and, according to two anonymous sources, Sanders will be making his first appearance with her outside of the debates.

Representatives from both candidates have been hammering out planks for the Democratic platform, which will be formally adopted at the Democratic convention in Philadelphia at the end of July.

In an interview on Saturday, the Vermont senator said that he and his rival are working closely together to resolve their differences, reports The Hill.

"I think it's fair to say the Clinton campaign and I are coming closer and closer together in trying to address the major issues facing this country," Sanders said Saturday. "We look forward to continuing working with the Clinton campaign and will have more to say in the very near future."
