Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is scheduled to deliver a speech on his immigration policy on Wednesday night, hours after his meeting with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto failed to provide much insight on it.

During a joint press conference earlier in the day, Trump said that the two men did not discuss who would pay for a wall between the US and Mexico -- something Trump has promised to build through Mexican funding since beginning his presidential campaign.

However, a spokesperson for the president quickly undermined that statement, saying that Peña Nieto told the real estate magnate that Mexico would not be paying for any such project.

The speech also comes shortly after Trump said he was "softening" his position on immigration, which angered conservative supporters like Ann Coulter.

The broadcast is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. EST, and is being streamed below.
