Lindsay Lohan's response to Donald Trump is more presidential than anything he's said this election

News broke Friday that Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump spent one of his Howard Stern appearances lusting over actress and singer Lindsay Lohan, who was barely legal at 18-years-old at the time. If that isn't enough, former co-star Jamie Lee Curtis also had some choice words for Trump.

“What do you think of Lindsay Lohan?” Trump asked Stern.

“I think she’s hot,” Stern replied.

“There’s something there right?” Trump said. “But you have to like freckles. I’ve seen a, you know, close up of her chest and a lot of freckles. Are you into freckles?”

Friday afternoon Lohan released a statement to CNN.com that was arguably more sensible and more presidential than anything that Trump has said for the last year. According to a tweet from Lauren Duca, Lohan said through a spokesperson, "Right now, Lindsay is choosing to focus on the positive things happening in her life and has decided to disregard the comments made about her by Presidential nominee Donald Trump. She is focusing on helping children around the world in need and that's where her passion is."

Classy.

Former co-star Jamie Lee Curtis was disgusted by the comments too. Posting a photo of the two from their 2003 remake of the film "Freaky Friday" Curtis said, "I am appalled. Lindsay needed help and guidance. Not your gross, lecherous, lewd commentary. YOU are the Republican nominee for the Presidency."
