CNN's Hilary Rosen worries that she and many other Americans will be "collateral damage" in the "economic protest" that got Donald Trump elected.
Rosen, a lesbian and the parent of children of color, said Trump has promised to strip her and other Americans of at least some of their human rights -- and she's terrified.
"What I'm feeling and what I'm hearing from friends across the country is that we're worried that we're going to be collateral damage in this," Rosen said Wednesday morning on "New Day."
She said Trump had committed to appointing U.S. Supreme Court justices who would repeal same-sex marriage and roll back other civil rights for LGBT people and reproductive rights for women.
"It may be that this is really just about economic protest and trade, but what happens is that you put power in the hands of people who can do this kind of damage, it's scary," Rosen said. "I'm scared."
