'Jesus is not on the ballot': SNL's Dana Carvey returns as the 'Church Lady' to talk about Tuesday's election

Longtime favorite Dana Carvey returned to SNL on Saturday night to reprise one of his more beloved characters: the Church Lady.

Appearing with Weekend Update anchor Colin Jost, Carvey hit all the Church Lady's trademark catchphrases while talking about Tuesday's election and lamenting the fact that "Jesus is not on the ballot."

"Well, it's a tough choice we have on Tuesday," Carvey said. "Do we go for a bitter female android from the 90's or a riverboat gambler with a big tummy and an orange head?"

The sketch concluded with the Church Lady singing "What A Wonderful World," as a satirical slideshow of photos of the candidates, as well as Anthony Weiner and Vladimir Putin who have inserted themselves into the campaign in bizarre ways.
