Bill Maher roasted Donald Trump, his supporters and his "flying monkey" surrogates in a 45-minute standup routine he performed on Facebook Live.
The comedian and "Real Time" host said next week's election was a "referendum on decency," and he's not terribly confident that Americans will reject Trump.
“I’m scared because people are stupid, because Hillary Clinton is not exciting ... and because Democrats don’t know how to beat Donald Trump," Maher said. "Every time he’s gone down in the polls it’s because he did it to himself.”
Maher shredded Trump as a racist, liar, tax cheat, draft dodger and possible rapist and Russian dupe.
“These are red flags!” he said.
He mocked voters who compared their choice between Trump and Hillary Clinton to "Coke vs. Pepsi."
“This is Coke versus tap water in Flint,” Maher said.
Maher hopes his unlikely presidential campaign will be remembered like another trump-up disaster that never quite materialized.
“I hope when we look back on this, Trump is like Y2K -- a bunch of nothing,” Maher said.
