First Lady Melania Trump did not condemn her husband President Donald Trump's vicious personal attack on "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski on Thursday, but instead issued a statement defending the president and plugging her anti-cyber bullying program.
“As the First Lady has stated publicly in the past, when her husband gets attacked, he will punch back 10 times harder,” said a statement from Melania Trump spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham, according to CNN.
Talking Points Memo pointed to a tweet by NBC News national correspondent Peter Alexander that said when Grisham was asked about Melania Trump's stance against cyber bullying, the response was that Melania Trump is "continuing to be thoughtful about her platform."
