Appearing on AM Joy, actor Ron Perlman delivered a frighteningly accurate impersonation of President Donald Trump's rambling speech patterns based upon the New York Times interview with the president from earlier in the week that has caused the White House nothing but grief.

Appearing with Associate Professor of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University John McWhorter, the actor and host Joy Reid laughed at the recording of Trump's interview with the president darting from topic to topic with multiple digressions per sentence.

Perlman, then launched into his own Trump-speak and -- while he didn't replicate Trump's bombast -- he nailed the flighty nature of a president who can't remain on topic for more than twenty seconds to the delight of host Reid.
