President Donald Trump started his Twitter day off by awkwardly extending "warmest condolences' to the victims of the Las Vegas shooting that left at least 50 dead and hundreds wounded.

As most of America was waking up to news about the horrifying shooting -- reportedly committed by 64-year-old Stephen Craig Paddock, of Mesquite, Nevada -- Trump tweeted: "My warmest condolences and sympathies to the victims and families of the terrible Las Vegas shooting. God bless you!"

Prior to the official Trump tweet, comedian Patton Oswald predicted what was to come, writing, “I know the Vegas situation is grim but let’s wait to hear Trump’s statement he’ll make it all better” — (said) a concussion victim."

Twitter users immediately noted the somewhat tone-deaf presidential response.
