New evidence reveals that Las Vegas mass shooter Stephen Paddock fired special "incendiary" rounds at a large fuel tank in what investigators believe may have been an attempt to cause an explosion.

Law enforcement officials that spoke to CNN said they found the special bullets, which are intended to explode upon impact, in both Paddock's room at the Mandalay Bay and near the 43,000-barrel jet fuel tank at the McCarran International Airport a few miles away.

FBI officials previously disclosed that Paddock fired at the jet fuel tank, but not that he'd used the exploding bullets to do so.
