On Wednesday, former White House adviser and current Breitbart executive Steve Bannon admitted Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore's defeat -- but the candidate himself still hasn't conceded.
On Breitbart's SiriusXM radio show, Bannon attributed Moore's loss to his challenger Doug Jones' ability to get voters to the polls.
"If you get outworked, you’re going to lose," Bannon said. "And, I gotta tell ya, their ability to get out votes, that’s what it comes down to."
The Breitbart executive gave a "hats off" to the Democratic National Committee for their organizing efforts for Jones.
"The DNC came in here, slipped in here underneath the radar, and did an amazing job of organizing,” Bannon told his co-host, Breitbart editor-in-chief Alex Marlow. “What’s my favorite word? Ground game. Nice ground game."
"You gotta give the devil its due," he continued.
