White House lawyer Ty Cobb described Donald Trump's former national security adviser Michael Flynn as “a former Obama administration official.”
In a statement responding to Flynn entering a guilty plea on Friday, Cobb insisted nothing "implicates anyone other than Mr. Flynn."
Flynn is expected to deliver evidence against President Donald Trump, according to a report by ABC News.
Flynn served as the Defense Intelligence Agency director under President Barack Obama for two years. He had a prominent role in Trump's 2016 campaign and briefly served as his national security adviser in Trump's White House.
