Michigan State University is refusing to discipline a racist student who frequently uses the n-word on social media.

As first reported by The Tab, sophomore Jillian Kirk has frequently made racist taunts including "GOD BLESS AMERICA, F*CK THE BLACKS!" and "F*ck f*ck f*ck f*ck f*ck n*gger sh*t."

"F*ck n*ggers I'm so over it," she once tweeted, apparently quoting a friend.

Kirk has apparently taken her Twitter down but screenshot of the statements are being circulated.

The Tab reached out to Michigan State—which has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons lately—but spokesperson Emily Guerran issued a statement saying the school cannot do anything.

"The university is aware of the recent social media posts connected to an MSU student," the statement says. "As a public institution, we do not get to control what every member of our community says."
