‘She put a target on their backs’: Ex-Breitbarter shreds Dana Loesch for inciting NRA members to attack Joy Reid and Mika

Appearing on Sunday's AM Joy, former Breitbart executive Kurt Bardella ripped into NRA spokesperson Dana Loesch for name checking MSNBC hosts Joy Reid and Mika Brzezinski in a controversial ad that warned the two anchors: "Your time is running out."

According to the MSNBC regular, Loesch's mention of the women's names put "a target on their backs" for any deranged NRA member panicking that someone is coming to grab their guns.

In the notorious "hourglass ad," Loesch ominously accused the media of “sanctimony, arrogance, hatred and pettiness,” after mentioning the names of the two female MSNBC hosts.

After viewing a clip of the ad (which can be seen below) Bardella -- who used to work with Loesch at Breitbart -- went off on a rant about the NRA employee who has become more lightning rod than spokesperson.

"The reality is the world of the NRA is closing in on them and they are retracting and they're getting smaller," Bardella began while speaking with host Reid. "Every weekend you provide a forum to have an enlightened elevated conversation about public policy and the discourse of this country and their response to that is to directly call you out by name and effectively put a target on your back."

"We've seen there are plenty of disturbed people in this country that have unchecked access to weapons," he warned. "If something happens to anybody in the media, to anyone they've called out in these propaganda videos, the NRA has blood on their hands."

"They put out another video the other day where they referred to Mika as a 'sexy anchor,'" he continued. "It's blatant sexism and the facts aren't on their side. The reason you don't see any facts from them is because all of the measures are against them. Even if you look at polling of gun owners -- the majority of whom actually support responsible gun reform in this country -- they don't want to talk about that, so they resort to these kind of tactics to create that culture war."

"At the end of the day what I think is most disturbing is there's going to be some demented deranged person who will try to take matters into their own hands," he cautioned.

“To every lying member of the media, to every Hollywood phony, to the role model athletes who use their free speech to alter and undermine what our flag represents…Your Time is running out. The clock starts now."
