President Donald Trump was up late Friday night expressing his anger at former FBI director James Comey.
"James Comey illegally leaked classified documents to the press in order to generate a Special Council [sic]? Therefore, the Special Council [sic] was established based on an illegal act? Really, does everybody know what that means?" Trump asked his followers.
The argument, of course, is nonsensical as the special counsel was ordered by the Justice Department. Thus, whether it's a council or a counsel, Trump isn't the keen legal mind that he thinks he is.
