Michele Bachmann sorry for telling Jews to convert to Christianity to hasten the End Times

Michele Bachmann apologized in Israel for urging Jews to convert to Christianity to bring about the biblical End of Days.

The former Minnesota congresswoman and failed Republican presidential candidate said she was sorry Sunday for her remarks three years ago about Jews and armageddon, reported the Times of Israel.

“Personally, I know that in ignorance … myself, I have stated things that I should not have said and I profoundly apologize and repent and ask forgiveness from Almighty God for my statements that, though said in ignorance, have brought pain,” Bachmann said.

Bachmann told a right-wing radio station in 2015, following a visit to Israel, that intensifying violence in the region signaled the return of Jesus — and called for mass conversions.

“We recognize the shortness of the hour,” Bachmann told Washington Watch, “and that’s why we as a remnant want to be faithful in these days and do what it is that the Holy Spirit is speaking to each one of us, to be faithful in the Kingdom and to help bring in as many as we can — even among the Jews — share Jesus Christ with everyone that we possibly can because, again, He’s coming soon.”

Bachmann apologized at a special joint Bible study class for Christians and Jews co-sponsored by the Knesset Caucus for the Encouragement of Bible Study, the Schindler Society and Israel365’s Yeshiva for the Nations.

Several anonymous Trump officials told the Washington Examiner this week that former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci regularly abused staff members in the 11 short days in which he was employed by the president.

George Conway, the husband of Trump White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, lashed out on Tuesday at the Trump officials who anonymously attacked Scaramucci and accused them of overlooking President Donald Trump's own abusive behavior.

Another member of the National Rifle Association's board of directors has resigned -- marking the fifth high-profile departure in recent weeks from the powerful gun manufacturer lobbying group.

NRA board member Richard Childress, a former NASCAR driver and owner of a car racing enterprise, resigned Monday in a letter obtained by Newsweek.

Four other board members have resigned from the NRA's board of directors since Aug. 1, when two quit after complaining they had been sidelined for raising questions about runaway spending and mismanagement by top executives.

Trump’s fantasy about Russia investigators going to prison is doomed to flop: legal experts

Published

The investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election has largely wrapped up, and even though it did not exonerate President Donald Trump, he and his allies seem convinced not only that it has, but that the whole investigation was illegitimate and the people who carried it out are part of a so-called "Deep State" that is going to be put behind bars any day now.

A new analysis by Politico published on Tuesday walks through how Trump and many of his allies, including Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton, and right-wing ex-prosecutor Joe DiGenova, are expecting a number of people, like former FBI Director James Comey and fired federal agent Peter Strzok, will be found guilty of criminal acts after internal investigations conducted by Inspector General Michael Horowitz and U.S. Attorney John Durham. Trump has even called it "treason."
